2009 – To All Those Who Inspire Me…Thank You!

Here we go, about 24 days before the end of the year. This is the time when everyone starts thinking about a new set of New Year’s resolutions and new ventures for 2009 whether personal or professional. As I sit here and do the same, I think to myself “How much of these will actually happen?” Don’t get me wrong, I am focused and organized (when I want to be), but I have learned this year that to truly be successful, you need others. Birds of a feather flock together, and I’d have to say, others inspire me. Really focusing on social networking these past six months has enabled me to meet some terrific people that I can bounce ideas off and hear theirs. I must admit helping people professionally or personally makes me feel good. Giving people advice that they can walk away with makes it all worthwhile and inspires me to be the best I can be.

So those of you out there, friends, family, colleagues – you all know who you are – thank you so much for being part of my life and inspiring me to inspire you!

Tis the Season…

As the holidays fast approach us, so do thoughts of a new year around the corner! All I can say is I’m grateful. Grateful for family, friends and great fortune. Always try to keep in perspective that the goal is not to get the latest Wii but to keep in mind all the people who struggle to get work, and feed and cloth their families. To those people I send out positive blessings and urge them to keep pressing on. Keep trying and never give up. Those are the folks I think about and pray for every single day. Try not to listen to the media. The goal is to always report news that boosts ratings, not that helps people. I believe in Obama and his hope for our country, as I share that same hope.

As the holidays approach focus on the positive and help those who are less fortunate any way you can. That is my wish so they may have peace and love during the holidays.

Always be grateful and do not be afraid to show and give love.
