All Reading and No Writing!
As a long time marketer I’m often reading many marketing blog posts daily. With pages of notes I often remind myself, “Anna, you have to post this on your blog!” Well I’m happy to say that I’m now going to be contributing to the BMA blog http://www.amaboston.net/ and I know that will keep me in line with updating my own blog!
My first article will run shortly on the challenges I have faced at my technology company when communicating effective marketing strategies to technological minds. Marketing has its own set of technicalities and the key is to effectively communicate them in a language technology minds understand – metrics, requirements for successful marketing strategies, and most importantly setting goals and milestones. When you present marketing this way, you successfully convey what it is all about and how marketing can successfully launch a business, any business, from being unknown to becoming a leader in the industry.
I will also include some information from other industry bloggers that I find insightful and helpful in making me become a better marketer. My fascination is that you truly do learn something new every single day. When you can apply the information you learn and share it with others, then you have truly learned the value of being a blogger.
Stay tuned for more postings in the future. If you come across my blog, please feel free to comment or add your insight. The sense of community is another important aspect of a blog.
Until next time!
